Ian McCulloch on the Sky Arts Channel

We have just received news that Ian will be featured on a new series called Songbook on the UK Sky Arts Channel.

The time of the broadcast has yet to be set but the date is the 5TH June 2008, Ian will be playing The Killing Moon, Rescue, Nothing Lasts Forever & a new track.

Once we know the time of the broadcast we will let you all know.

'BLOW OUT' with Will Sergeant

Mac Hits The Sky ....

Mac did a programme for sky arts this week - he performed four tracks aswell as talking about the songs - which were rescue, the killing moon, nothing lasts forever and a new track from the new album.

It was filmed in HD at Parr Street Recording Studios and it looked great !

It's due to be shown at the end of May this year - we will have a trailer to show soon and the date it's on t.v.

Lauren Laverne presents highlights of the spectacular events launching Liverpool's year as the European Capital of Culture.

Awarded the title in 2004, the city kicks off its year as European Capital of Culture with two nights of amazing spectacle, featuring musicians, singers, dancers, aerial acrobats and special effects.

Friday 11 January sees a massive open air extravaganza outside St George's Hall drawing on performers and artists associated with Liverpool, from Ringo Starr to indie band the Wombats as well as an aerial ballet and massed choirs. Saturday's events come from the city's new Liverpool Echo Arena and feature Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in collaboration Dave Stewart, No Fakin DJs , The Bunnymen, Ian Brodie, The Farm, Riuven and Pete Wylie.

The programme also takes a look at what it means to be awarded Capital of Culture status and speaks to those involved in putting the whole year's series of events together. [S]

CBS Breakfast Show

Ian McCulloch has just finished recording an interview for USA TVs CBS Breakfast Show.
Ian was interviewed as part of the Liverpool 08 City Of Culture launch
The ‘CBS’ breakfast show has around 20-30 million viewers, CBS have their own media and it will be in magazines and newspapers, so up to 100m people in America could see Ian.
You will be able to view the interview if you live in the USA or have access to the channel on the morning of January 11th.

Albert Hall Officially Sold Out ....

We have just received news that the 2008 London Albert Hall is now officially SOLD OUT.

"Will & Ian are well chipper" said Peasy (manager) today, "its amazing the support & loyalty the fans have shown us towards what is going to be an amazing gig"

Royal Albert Hall Ticket Update

Ian & Will would just like to say thank you to all the fans who have purchased tickets for there Ocean Rain gig in September 2008 at London's Royal Albert Hall.
